Today I went looking for sewing books.. and happened upon this one...

It is full of cute easy to sew patterns..I will be making this one tomorrow...

so i'm back from outer space...!

Well it has been a while , I have been super busy with work . How was everyones Christmas? Mine was great I got some cute new fabrics. So i got crackin on some sewing.

I went to my favorite book store saterday and found some amazing books. This is the first one that caught my eye.

Ok so I missed posting yesterday I was at a HASWOPER class. It was a very informative class, however I had been awake for 24hrs straight in order to take the class. Anyways I just recived the first thing I have ever bought off of ESTY its this lil cuttie

Down Day inspiration

So I didn't have to work today. Inventory was too high so we had a down day. I usually like to stay busy so being at home was making me crazy. I have been wanting some where to put some of my braclets and rings. Normally they are in a heap on my night stand or hidden somewhere odd. I started out with an empty glass coke bottle....

First step wash out !..and yes that is my pig helping.. :)

So I am starting  a new thing for fridays. Mostly in the hopes to get me to blog on a more regular basis.
My first favorite is my  NOOK  Matt bought it for me for our two year wedding anivesery.

I love reading books  and this little baby makes book reading much more travel friendly. Also they have a free book friday deal! How awsome is that ?

So the crative funk continues but there is a bright spot at the end of the tunnel. I may be getting a sewing machine for my birthday in july :) ... then i will have the nessary tools to finish alot of my half done projects. In the mean time i will be shareing some fun things i have found.. like these lil babies...

So it is now the start of DAY 4 of being snowed in...YAY SNOW! So there I was in the back of my closet when I found this little sad little tote bag.

So its day 2 of being snowing in. I  decicded to share some of my favorite things today.
I know most women carry around huge I mean HUGE luggage sized purses. I always struggle finding a purse that I really like. Sooo I made my own. It all started out as a flag form my fav shoes.

So it finally feels like winter now. Its been snowing since around midnight and I braved the cold outsideyness. With my trusty hat I made back in November
